2020's Winter Keiko shirts contained the Funakoshi Sensei quotes “To search for the old is to understand the new,” and “ You must ignore the bad and adopt the good.” Tying into this theme, the Enso for this seminar is adapted from the cover of Joseph Campbell’s “The Hero With 1000 Faces.” Campbell looked extensively into the past to find the core aspects of successful stories and myths in order to find the core truths and ideas that illuminate what will determine the relevance of stories that were and are yet unwritten. Like the other non-event design re-issues, the event specific front lapel design has been replaced with the Sunday Morning Keiko logo.
